Covid restriction update from Dashwood Medical Centre

Throughout the pandemic we have strived to make your surgery as safe as possible for all our patients and staff.

We will still continue to do this going forward

In terms of "opening up "as you know we have never shut and in fact have consulted with mush higher numbers of patients thank we did pre-covid (face 2 face, phone triage and e-consult)However people come to the surgery when they are sick and vulnerable and whilst we have vaccinated a large proportion of our adult population, some of our population cannot receive the vaccine due to medical reasons. Therefore, in line with guidance from Public Health England and our commissioners we will continue to request patients

1.wear a mask, shield or face covering when attending the surgery

2. always social distance

3.use hand sanitiser on entry

As a community we have all come so far in trying to minimise impact of covid and we are sure you understand that we need to keep our surgery as safe as we can, particularly as infection rates are expected to rise over the coming months

Dear Patient can we please ask as our patients, when you receive a request for the national screening programmes for Bowel screening, Breast screening, Cervical screening and child immunisations we would encourage all our patients in these groups to be tested, screened and immunised for your health and care with Dashwood MC.

E consult service  Please be advised that the response you will receive from the practice by 6.30pm the following day of submission, will be notification of receipt ONLY.  Instructions will also be included in this message to advise when the clinician will view your econsult and possibly contact you.
