Qualified from the University of Kerala, India in 1989. has worked in Paediatrics in India and in the UK. Dr Gee has a Diploma in Child Health (DCH, Glasgow) and Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG London. She completed her vocational training in Margate and joined Northdown Surgery in 2003.
Dr Gee has special interests in paediatrics and gynaecology.

Dr Peshen is a GP and one of our partners. He was instrumental in arranging for the Covid vaccinations being rolled out in Thanet, both at St Peter's Church hall and then when it moved to Saga. He has recently won a national award as Clinical Lead of the year.

I trained as a nurse at The Middlesex Hospital in London and have worked in several hospitals before moving into primary care 26 years ago. I worked initially as a Practice Nurse and then undertook further training to work in my current clinical role as an Advanced Clinical Nurse Practitioner. I have been prescribing in my role for 20 years and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge, especially in women's health and respiratory conditions. I see patients of all ages with both acute illnesses as well as ongoing conditions. I also provide leadership to the team and am passionate about supporting patients to manage their illnesses, so they do not have unnecessary hospital admissions. I am also the Clinical Director for Ramsgate Primary are Network (PCN).

I gained my prescribing qualification in 2017, following on from that I achieved my MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice in 2020.
My areas of expertise are Respiratory, Urgent Care, Womens health.

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

The doctors' day-to-day work is supported by medical secretaries who are available to speak to patients on a variety of issues. Behind the scenes our practice administrative staff do the work involved in the business of the practice. If you have been referred to a specialist, consultant or hospital then call the outpatients ervice who can advise how and when you will be seen. You may also choose the cosse and book service to pick where and when there is an appointment availble as well.

Our receptionists are your first point of contact with the surgery. They will help you when you want to see your doctor or nurse. They answer many of your questions and arrange for you to speak to any other member of staff who can help you. Please be advised they will also ask what the purpose of your call is to inform the relevant staff when needed.Can we please ask during these very difficult times to not swaear and curse over the phone. The practice has a zero tolerance for abusive behaviour towards any staff and further steps will be taken if it continues. All calls are recorded for training and review if any problems.

One of the community midwives will be at the surgery on Wednesdays from 10:00 - 14:00 to care for mothers before and 2 weeks after delivery. Midwives can be contacted through the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital on 01843 225522 ext 62114.
If you are confined to your home and need assistance then your doctor can arrange for a community district nurse to call.
